recently, as some may know, i had a hard drive failure. i’d lost lots of unreleased projects such as remixes unofficial/official and original mixes that can no longer be recovered. it’s not a problem though. i’ve started fresh from scratch and i’ve completed my first remix since the situtation. it’s a track by cassette club; however, it is still not determined whether its official or not. regardless of what it will be, i will be releasing it as promotion non-profit or as an official release.
another challenge is that i am currently a full-time college student involved in many extracurriculars so my time in the studio is more limited. i do have big plans however for future releases
keep in touch!!!

About ALGERONICS
ALGERONICS was an electronic side-project formed in 2006 by me when I was 14 years old. The name comes from the first half of Algernon (my middle name) and the second half of electronics. It was influenced by the deeper ambient electronica sound similar to artists such as Lali Puna, Dntel, Arthur & Yu, dublab, etc. In early 2007, the project was abandoned when I was lost in musical direction. Later that year, I experimented on various electronic styles and was finally introduced to sampling. ALGERONICS was then used as a named for unreleased/unfinished tracks or previews for upcoming tracks for my more serious projects. By the end of 2007, I found a growing interest for the arising epidemic of the electronic dance scene. In particular, I found myself becoming addicted to the French-Electro scene which included new influences like Daft Punk, Surkin, Teenage Bad girl, Justice, Para One, Sebastian, tacteel, Teki Latex etc. In 2008, ALGERONICS officially became the name of my dance project. I started experimenting with this new style mainly producing original tracks at a rapid pace. At this time, I was beginning to learn more about DJing as well. In 2009 was when I started to get serious with the project. I was then introduced to music blogs and in January I started to produce unofficial remixes for songs I felt like remixing and continued on with original compositions. In just six months of serious production, I was able to catch the attention of music bloggers and quickly got on some of the major blogs. One of the more popular bootlegs I worked on was Aphex Twin's "Windowlicker" which was featured on hype machine's popular music.

But its good to hear that your back and have new stuff on the way. I heard the Cassette Club remix, and its truly amazing, cant wait for the full release.
Btw I still have some cover/logo designs for you here, just needed your own logo to add it to the design, guess we lost contact there when your drive crashed. If your still interested send me a mail!
